Welcome!
PromotingBWI of Topeka has a goal of reaching out to those who might not know anything about babywearing. We have attended the Welcome Baby Jubilee at Stormont Health, attended the Baby Shower at St. Francis Medical, reach out to Midwives and Doulas in our area, and hand out business cards to mom's and dad's whenever we can!

TeachingAt our monthly meetings we hope to teach care-givers the safest and most comfortable ways to wear their newborns, babies, and toddlers through education and gentle guidance. Babywearing is a beautiful way to bond with your child, and get through the day-to-day with both hands free, but it can be a little overwhelming to the novice wearer. We hope to make it less intimidating!

SupportingBWI of Topeka is a fantastic way to meet moms and dads in the area and find support for the difficult journey of parenting. BWI Inc. does not promote any specific type of parenting, and there are care-givers of every life-style that find peer support through our group. Our play-groups are designed to give kiddos space to play and care-givers some much needed adult interaction!

Meet The Volunteers!BWI of Topeka is led and organized on a completely volunteer basis. The team consists of Volunteer Babywearing Educators (VBEs) and Chapter Support Volunteers (CSVs). Get familiar with their face or just look for an orange BWI of Topeka shirt to grab one of them for help at our next meeting!
